Welcome to the Foundation
| The BCS Foundation is a relatively new entity, yet the fundraising efforts it supports remain the same. It is the result a collaboration between BACET trustees, the Billings School Board trustees and the Diocese of Great Falls/Billings. The purpose of the foundation is to solidify current fundraising activities and preserve and expand the endowment funds, while allowing new opportunities through enhanced collaborative efforts and integrated support services.
In the past, our fundraising efforts functioned autonomously. Now they will be overseen by a Board of Trustees, managed by a President and directed by a Special Events office. The current fundraisers; BACET (the endowment), Mayfair, and the Annual Giving Campaign/Phone-a-thon, will remain intact under the umbrella of the BCS Foundation. In addition, the Foundation will oversee all fundraising activities for the schools. With one entity supporting the fundraising efforts, individual groups will no longer be competing for donors but rather working together with them to best utilize their gifts.
Through the collaborative efforts of the BCS Foundation Trustees and the BCS School Board, consistency and support will be provided to all fundraising activities, events, and projects that benefit the schools and students. Our mission remains the same although encompassing a larger more integrated role. |

The BCS Foundation is dedicated to fostering the continued success and enrichment of the Billings Catholic Schools by providing and increasing an endowment and overseeing all fundraising efforts to ensure long and short term financial stability and support. |
On Friday, February 5, 2010, BCS President Harold Olson and BCS School Board Chair Rita Turley accepted a
check in the amount of $327,485.00 from the BCS Foundation. The annual donation of the BCS Foundation
to Billings Catholic Schools is a key funding component of the BCS general operating budget.
